Jacquelyn Babinski is an Associate Attorney with North Pointe Legal, PLLC. She is a passionate and experienced attorney and a dedicated advocate for children's education rights. Her commitment to fighting for justice for children and families is a major asset to North Pointe’s mission.

Jacquelyn obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Child Development and Psychology from Central Michigan University in December 2014. She worked as a juvenile probation officer for Montcalm County for a year and a half before starting law school. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Michigan State University College of Law in December 2018. She worked for Elizabeth K. Abdnour, Esq., PLLC as a law clerk. Following her admission to the bar, she continued to work in that office as a Contract Attorney.

In March 2020, Jacquelyn began work as a Contract Attorney for Legal Services of Eastern Michigan (LSEM), where she represented students attending Flint Community Schools who have been affected by the Flint Water Crisis. She opened her private practice, Babinski Law, PLLC, in July 2020. Her practice handled education and criminal law, along with court-appointed family law work. Jacqueline joined North Pointe Legal in May, 2022 expanding the scope of her practice to include Abuse and Neglect, Family Law and Education Law.

Jacquelyn and some colleagues created MI AECRES, a nonprofit that provided education advocacy and legal representation to families in West Michigan, in February 2021. She serves as the Executive Director of MI AECRES, managing the day-to-day affairs of the organization and working closely with the other board members on the organization’s strategic planning initiatives. She also serves as MI AECRES' lead attorney. In this role, she oversees non-attorney advocates, investigates and litigates education cases in administrative and court hearings, and engages with community partners and policymakers. Jacqueline is also an active member of Council of Parents, Attorneys, and Advocates (COPAA), serving on their membership committee, and of the Michigan Parent, Advocate, and Attorney Coalition (MiPAAC).
